Panton Eye Center

Dr. Peter J. Panton, attended college and medical school at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He served his internship at the University of Chicago and his residency at the University of Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Laser Surgery. He has been awarded fellowship in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Panton joined his father in practice in 1986. Dr. Panton currently serves at Treasurer of the Hellenic Medical Society of Chicago and as President-Elect of the Chicago Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Panton is married and has two children.

            

Dr. Robert W. Panton, attended college and medical school at Brown University. He also received a Master's Degree in Pharmacology at Brown. He served his internship at the University of Chicago and his residency at the University of Illinois. Dr. Panton completed his fellowship in corneal transplantation and cataract surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Panton joined his father and brother in practice in July, 1991. Dr. Panton is married and has three children.

            

Dr. Elizabeth Panton Karkazis, attended college at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa honorary Society. Dr. Panton has a particular interest in refractive services, including glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Panton joined her father and two brothers in practice in 1993. She is married and has three children.
